(NOTICE: NO SPOILERS) OH. MY. GOSH. What a night. The Game of Thrones episode three for this last season was EPIC, and there are six episodes in this season. Looking back at it, just by the directing alone, I could just cry. It was so well directed, I can’t recall another movie or show that was even close to that episode’s directing. (I haven’t seen Avengers: Endgame yet, but I may see it tonight.) Let me reiterate that. I’m talking about ONE episode, ONE big scene. Here’s some facts about last night’s episode:
- 55 film days
- 750 people on scene
- Longest Game of Thrones episode EVER (82 minutes)
- Longest battle sequence in film or TV history
The episode was directed by Miguel Sapochnik, who also directed great Game of Thrones battle scenes before. What I liked about this episode was if a person never watched an episode of Game of Thrones before, they could watch that episode with another person that has watched all the seasons and they’ll get them caught up. It basically brought everything into that episode, meaning every question that a non-fan had, could be answered except for one thing that I won’t mention here.
If you haven’t watched it, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? What do you all think about the fun facts about the episode? Other comments? Let me know in the comments!
